Yesterday morning I was burning old weed piles and spraying the new growth in shirt sleeves. Get ready Ghost it's blowing your way.

It rolled into the hills today and the chain laws are in effect, but I think I will be ok this time since the brunt of it is north of me. Hopefully it will stay there.  We got a big car show this saturday I want to attend, but you have to be there at 7:30 It should be a cool ride in the morning even though it will be in the 60's by mid day. Close to 80 by next mid week. And there you have my weather report. :)

Well I got woke up by cold sprinkels blowing in my window about 1am. We need the rain bad, been having big prarie fires all around here. I have a small creek on the west of my property, so I grabed a long handel rake this morning to disloge some big tumble weeds that got stuck on the way through. Reached out for the last one and slipped in the mud and got a nice COLD spring bath, feet first. >:(  Luckily the water was down to just over a foot. Like to never got a good footing to get back out. Glad no one saw me, but i'm shure a few heard me yell!   ;D

Sammons, Glad you got out of the creek. My buddy and I went to Our Inliner meeting Saturday. Stopped by the bar on the way home. It was cloudy but no rain. Within two beers there was lightning very close, the power went out, and the bottom fell out of the sky. After placing a $1,000 bet that the power was still on at my house, we make our own, I headed home through the running water. My wife doesn't like to be alone up here in the lightning. If not for the dozer work in November and last month's 220+ yards of gravel the old '53 would not have made it. I'm working on a set of guide wheels for the rock rake to help maintain the road and picking time between storms to spray weeds. Need to be ready for what may be a bad fire season this summer. There's always something. ;D

Working with the garage door open today.  Supposed to hit 60° today and 70° tomorrow.  Not a cloud in the sky :)
Going to a big swap meet in Fitchburg Ma. tomorrow morning.
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Steve...Did you have any storms  Tuesday nite/ Wendsday Morning  early??  We had high winds 70+ miles per hr  and I heard that there was a tornado (unconfirmed)  near us...which knocked down power poles and left us without  power for 15 hrs.
Now that we have power restored..it"s time to take a nap.....No cleaning the garage today...maybe tomorrow

Ed it all was east of me. I heard the wind kick up here about 6:30 this morn. We are supose to be under the gun friday. Man I left all my windows open and woke up with my teeth chatering though!

I was beat after cleaning and giving the ol dog a bath. Went to bed early and overslept this morning, rather locked up. So I haven't done squat yet today.  Good luck on the tomorrow cleaning! Stay safe man. :)

We woke up to a light dusting of snow this morning, then the wife tell me they are talking about 10 inches this weekend, but since then I think it has been changed. I hope so because I just uncovered the swamp cooler, and put the canvas covers on the awniings. I am not complaining because there are areas that are getting torn up.

Ghost Looks like you are in for it for a couple days. Hope it clears out fast for you. I like the first snow ,but after that can't wait till it's gone.  Ron

It keeps circling around, raining and then snow and then all over again. There is not to much accumulating on the roads, but the trees and grassy areas are starting to collect the stuff. There is a good car show tomorrow. Well I guess there was a good car show tomorrow.
