weather again
« on: March 23, 2016, 01:51:29 PM »
Man we are getting slammed out here. It's snowing sideways from the north so hard that the southbound traffic can't see the traffic lighting :o and it's causing a few accidents. I guess the 70 degree weather had to end sometime.

We started the week with 5 inches of snow on Monday which was gone by Tuesday.  Today was 50° but tomorrow morning we get freezing rain and snow then by Saturday back in the 50's again.  Like a roller-coaster!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

50s here today, 60s until Sunday. Snow possible Monday???? I bought a new tractor mount weed sprayer to help with the new crop of weeds because of the wetter winter. I was able to test it some but had to drain and "winterize" it because of the below freezing nights this week. Soon it will be too hot and we will be in fire season. I'll be killing weeds and dragging out the fire hoses. Don't you just love it? ::)

It's melting like crazy today. The house across the street yesterday had a bunch of ice streamers  hanging from the gutter, but the funny part they were hanging at a south 30 degree angle from the gutter level. We were warm when everyone else was freezing. It's our turn. Saturday a little more snow coming. March (huh)

The melting was going great, but here comes another round. I hope it's not like the last one. Pictures are from the last storm.

Yesterday morning I was burning old weed piles and spraying the new growth in shirt sleeves. Get ready Ghost it's blowing your way.

I think we had around 3" on overnight saturday. By noon it was all gone, 55 saturday then 65 sun. Then an explosion of dandy lions. The Turkey Vultures are back, must have been 30+ flying over head yesterday afternoon. One soared down close, dang he was a bigg'n. They roost out s.w at the lake.
