I have an 18' hydraulic tilt bed car trailer that I putting a new steel deck on. Making a few changes with D-Ring placements and lighting configuration.
Any features you like in a car hauler? For example I want to make a removable motorcycle chock and anchor points in case I ever need to move a motorcycle...any other suggestions?
Thanks

ED,
I borrowed a car trailer from a friend and it had one feature that helped with my car, The fenders were hinged and you could fold them down for more clearance to open the door.

I've seen that before, I know I hauled cars on trailers and had problem getting in and out of them when loaded.

Should have mentioned that I have made that conversion with each of my trailers and planned to do that with this trailer also. Already removed the fenders and welded in full tire wells for the conversion. Moved enough Corvettes and climbed out the windows ;D
Made my mind up and will fabricate a flush mount motorcycle chock so I can just pull it up from the floor when needed.

I would just like one, please ;D

Do you have pictures of how you hinged the fenders? I like an electric winch and a tongue mounted tool box to hold all of the accessories.

I'll try to find some pics from my last conversion...just "unwelded" the fenders that were on this current trailer and need to install the new deck before converting the fenders.

I am with you there, but I would like to store it at a friends house close by. :D
