AT LAST! My 32 Sweetie Came Home
« on: September 15, 2015, 02:30:55 PM »
I ask you very confidentially, aint she sweet  ;)

Well, here she is in reality. In my shop beside my nephews 64 Malibu project. It was a long haul to get it here, loaded and unloaded off transports 3 times but arrived intact including all extra parts.

Incredible that most of the wood is still intact and dry, less floors. Even the windshield  stainless is there.

Now thats its safe I can start thinking my way though the project over winter. I wont be starting until next spring but for now I can put together the build plan.

GREAT CAR ALMOST ALL THERE.  MAIN THING IS THE WOOD HAS TO BE GOOD. OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO REPLACE IT.

PASSENGER DOOR STICKING OUT AT BOTTOM, SHOULD BE A TURNBUCKLE ROD INSIDE DOOR RUNNING FRONT OF TOP OF WINDOW OPENING TO BOTTOM REAR, MAKE THAT TIGHTER TO PULL BOTTOM IN AND LINE IT UP.

NOT SURE WHATS GOING ON WITH DRIVERS DOOR AT THE TOP, MAYBE WOOD HAS COME LOOSE ???

RE SERIAL NUMBER......ACCORDING TO FRIEND FRANK AT GM CANADA, STARTING WITH 5, CAR WAS MADE IN OSHAWA.

CAR HAS WRONG FRONT BUMPER ON IT, SHOULD BE SINGLE BAR STRAIGHT ACROSS.

THE BEAUTY OF 32 CHEVROLET PASSENGER CARS, ALL THE SHEET METAL FOR HOOD, FENDERS , RUNNING BOARDS, GAS TANK COVER ARE ALL THE SAME .

GOTTA LOVE IT, 4 HOOD DOORS, DOUBLE BAR FRONT HEADLIGHT BAR, TRICK  )

Woooo What a find Beautiful coupe does not look like it needs much.1932 Chevy first year for solid bumpers First year for syncromesh transmission also has Free Wheeling Dual headlight bar engine serial numbers for 1932 run 2319372 to 2333699.In 1933 chevrolet had an access of rear fenders so 1933 chevy truck got the 1932 chevy car rear fenders. If you wish to park that in my garage I will make room beside our 59 corvette.  Your only original ONCE. vette59jdwl

Realyl nice solid complete car. I've said it before here but, we are what we are, I'd have a hard time hot rodding a car that is closer to original than to being a hot rod. They are only stock once no matter the quality of the restoration.

That's a nice find. I would like to find one like that for a future rod project, if I do one.   :-\

Wow thats nice.
What size are the wheels/tires?  I want those on my car (one day) .
When I got mine I didnt have any moola for a year or two . So I sat a stared at it deciding where to start and how. Good thing though, it helped me make some good decisions about it.
Ya got a good clean car there. Shouldnt take much to get it driveable .
