Title: Replacement keys for a 1937 Chevy?
Post by: EDNY on October 12, 2015, 03:55:37 PM
My son would like to locate some keys for his 37 Chevy sedan...he dropped a lock off at a locksmith.

The locks have a number on them...anyone know if the lock number could help ID the proper key cut pattern or even a complete key?

those numbers are able to be duplicated on a key for any gm dealership that has THE BOOK that identifies them.

I had a key made for a trunk lid lock for a 35 master handle that way.  The handle had the numbers stamped in.
