I have visited their store front in Georgia, it's a warehouse with a store front, you can touch and look at all the items they have in their catalogue,

Few pics of the progress so far.  That crossmember has to go. Painted it grey before installing.

Looking good! I bet it will be a fair bit luxier and quieter at high way speeds with that transmission.

Nice work!  That'll be so much nicer on the hi-way!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

New x-member arrived.  It says 5" drop but more like 4" . Cause the pad is welded at a angle.  The bar itself is 5, so I'll cut and reweld the pad.
Also a bit of mock-up.  The plan is to cut the driver's side near the pad and extend it 3.25" . This should clear the master cylinder by putting the bends under it.

The trans needs to come down  1.25" to be near where it was. Right now the pan is sitting on the original crossmember.

I used the same cross member, what I did was cut to the width I needed then welded flat stock on the ends drilled holes through the flat stock bolted it to my transmission with a floor jack set tranny at the right height drilled and tapped my frame rails, i used 1/4 plates in that area of my frame when I boxed it, Wish I had pictures to show you

Today's progress.
Bracket came off and re-welded in the proper position.
Triple/quadruple checked the measurements and started with the chop saw.
Tomorrow tack and mock-up.

Don't have a picture but for my 33 Chevy I turned one of those universal cross members upside down and welded another loop across the bottom.

In your situation you could turn it upside down and weld in a drop down square framed lower support.

1st mockup went well.  It clears the master cylinder and just need to move up the proportioning valve up a tad.  It's a 1/2" short so I'll cut another tube to weld in.

Looks like it will go together nicely. The parts mocked up on the cardboard like that look good, just missing the welds.

It is supposed to get up to the mid 30s today but it is sunny. I have to throw rocks out of the road for the propane truck that is supposed to come this week. They don't like getting rocks stuck between the dual tires. It's just two miles.  ;D
