My meaning is refined or acomplished, or a nick name from william the conquerers son Robert is a short person who wears short stockings. I think I will stay with refined.

Don't know what it means but it's spelling was to distance us from the horse stealing side of the family before the Lynches showed up. :o

Saint John was one of the twelve disciples. He wrote the Book of John and Revelations. Pretty good connection for a hot rodder. 8)
