My meaning is refined or acomplished, or a nick name from william the conquerers son Robert is a short person who wears short stockings. I think I will stay with refined.

Last name LYNCH, we are famous for stringing people up without due process and hanging them, thanks to some American named lynch.

Don't know what it means but it's spelling was to distance us from the horse stealing side of the family before the Lynches showed up. :o

Jeff, Ours is not to question but to serve. If your name does not end in a lightning bolt just keep doing what your family has been doing.
Saint John was one of the twelve disciples. He wrote the Book of John and Revelations. Pretty good connection for a hot rodder. 8)

My wife's maiden name is Skinner. I always pay attention when she has a knife in her hand. :o
