A very sad narrative of our current political system and unfortunately the problem goes well beyond the local and state level and and the scope is much broader then just gun control. One of the problems is citizen apathy but even worse is having a biased press that no longer does it's job of keeping the people informed with the true facts of an issue and allows the politicians to paint paint a picture based only on their own agendas.
