Lawn mower, golf cart, atv ect?  I needed new tires for my mower and haven't been happy with the Carlisel's. They are just 2ply, sneeze on them they are flat, sidewalls start cracking in just a few years.🥴

My size is 20-10-8 rear and 15-6-6 front.  Found a full set of Wanda's, ($164 set)  they are 4ply and  the same price if not less than the Carlisel. They have real good reviews and claim better traction than orig Turf Saver. Just curious if anybody was using them with good luck and my neighbor needs 2 tires for his golf cart soon.

I ended up only getting one rear off the wheel intact, it about put me down. I just can't use my hands anymore😡 The rest....i cut off the wheel with a 3" cut off wheel😁  Ever wonder what tire sealant does to your wheels? It's a rusty mess!

Got the old wheels sanded cleaned and painted, new valve stems, (that was a challenge to me).  Went for the bigger rear first....no way in hell. Called my buddy Tom and he came over. I felt better that he struggled a bit on the stiffer 4ply mounting. They all four took air quick, no banding needed😁 Went for test hit straight up hill, 👍 better bite for sure.

Good work! I have to mount new rear tires for my '53 in the next few days. Not looking forward to it but it will be easier than what you did.

I'm getting to this point also, have to air up two of my tires about every other week, fix a flat is a bad thing on wheels. My tires are 19 yrs old,

Yep, car and pickup tires are a whole lot easier to change than the little ones.

I had my buddy order these off Amazon. The expected delivery was tomorrow the 25. I got them in 3 days, looks like they were shipped from Tennessee. They did charge sales tax.

Pretty cool little tool there. Much easier to store than to be lugging my old bead breaker around. Mine is an old Cam Tool with a longer piece of square tubbing welded on the handle, (done in the late 70s)

I haven't found one yet I couldn't break with the one on my HF tire tool but none were that easy. I also have a too similar to Sammons' that works well but not easy. I see a new tool in my future! Thanks!

Steve..seen your Craftsman mower...I just got a old one for a $100 bill, got it for my son that just got a house with 5 lots on it... I was told mower would not send gas to the carb..hum....discovered it got the gas to the carb by way of vacuum..anyway had a few wiring issues all that said got it running and I kept it and gave my son my old mower...so saved me about $3500 on new riding mower😂😂

Ed you did good! I had to replace my vacuum fuel pump couple years ago. Mine gets vac from the right valve cover. Those are great old mowers. Should give you years of service.
I've had 4, one used and 3 new. Mine is a 1998, the last was a 2013. Hated it, nothing worked right on my ground. Hydrastat would wine and quit pulling going up my hill and that big single 22hp motor would bog in taller grass. Thing was unbalanced on hill sides. Sold it within 2 months and got my old 98 back out.

This one came into the dealer with everthing i wanted. 42" deck, B&S Industrial/Commercial 20hp v-twin, 3.5 gal rear tank, battery up front, fat tires on back. Only thing i didn't want was the hydrastat, it went out 4-5 years a go and i got the 6-speed manual that i wanted to begin with😁 i'm pushing 1,600 hrs, only used 1 pint of oil all last season.

For a year or so in the 70's Sears sold an electric garden tractor. The mower deck had 2 blades and each had it's own DC motor. The tiller had it's own DC motor. It would plow or mow 2 acres on a charge or till one acre per charge. There was a hedge trimmer & a stick welder attachment. A friend had one and it was truly 50 years ahead of it's time. Since we run on solar power here it would be fun to find one. It used golf cart batteries.
