Anyone here need one? While cleaning up the shop parts bins i came across this box. The lid had fell in, but legible and covered in body shop dust for many years. Interweb say's GM part group # 6.874 Part # 608840 steering rod unit kit fits '32-'40 Chevy pass cars and '41-'54 com.trucks.
Rather cruddy with a light bit of surface rust dust, (no pitting). Looks like a quick hit on wire brush and good to go. Give me a holler if ya need it!

The kit is gone. I had an 'ol boy dad knew caught me at the shop wanting to know if I knew where he could get the cup kit ('49 p.u.). I told him it was his lucky day, and gave it to him.
