That's what I thought the first time a guy brought one of those newer vette's into my shop to show it off. Why the hell do we need electric door openers, you still have to push a button. ::)  Give me good old fashioned direct connect mechanical.  ;D

Another reason to pack a .45 and a pit bull. They can  make big enough holes to breathe through. I'm only 70 but I think I can still kick out a window. Too bad someone has to die because he cares more about his car than himself. :(

I was talking to my neighbor yesterday at a funeral,  I asked him if he had seen this. He said he saw an article, but had not read it all. He has had two C6's (2011-13) and was unaware of the electric opp't inside door handels and did not know of the emergency manual cable pull. He couldn't understand why it didn't have a manually operated inside handels. At least maybe some will learn of this from the attention it has received.
