While cleaning the inside of my old Coats 4040 tire machine found this inside..has a spur at the handle end and grip reads made by Hunt Wilde Corporation.

Ed, we had a tool similar to that when I worked at the sevice station back in high school. It was for removing/installing/straightning/and shorting wheel weights. That would be my guess.

That is a old lead weight removal tool. The name one the grip is the company that made the grip which was used for bicycles.
