dodge cowl

I saved this the other day. It's a 1924 dodge roadster cowl and windshield stantions. I have started building the door frames using 14 guage metal they will be wrapped with 18 guage. If it all work out I might build the back of the body and a pickup bed for it. Mostly it's just a toy for now to play with. I coated it with a rust inhibitor to seal the rust and make it easier to handle cleanly.

That is nice. There is a complete teens- early twenties Dodge touring body less the doors here. I had id for a while then the guy backed out of the deal. I think he saw a Barret Jackson episode on TV. ;D I'm still working on getting it back. He'll never do anything with but neither would I probably. :(

Nice save!  Keep us up to date if you make any progress.

Nice little project to run into!  That stuff is scarce around here.

The only thing I have done so far is make a template of the a pillar hinge area, and cut out 6 steel plates of the same shape to act as the sides of the doors, and the latch area of the b pillar.  Then I had to put it away to work on a 55 chevy. :'(
