Which Mustang II front crossmember?

I used a Heidts in my 38 and the 32 with front steer. Had to modify the front apron to clear the steering box, I would think that power steering would be touchy at highway speeds because of the front end being light.

Bit late but I used a WELDER SERIES MII cross member.  These guys got their act together when it comes to street rod stuff that are laser cut.  Mine came as flat plate with small tabs holding it together.  Just clamp it to a bench, bend it down and there is a perfect gap for welding.  Complete instructions on where to notch for YOUR ride height.  Visit there web sight for more parts like this. 

I used a T-Bird power rack (non-sport), it is cheaper than a MII rack and much happier with the GM pump pressure (read no twitch).
