A hypothetical guestion
« on: April 01, 2015, 11:28:58 AM »
If the good Genie in the bottle said that you could have any tool or piece of equipment for your shop free of charge what would it be?

A welder. Not a machine, a man to properly use the welding machines I have.   ::)

A metal brake....no, a shrinker......no, a stretcher.........no, a tubing bender......no, a square tubing bender.......no, a drill press........no, a TIG welder..........I give up.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

I'd go for a lift too.  Tired of using jack stands and a creeper :D
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Course I would also need a taller garage to even be able to use the dumb thing, so hope there's more than one wish available!

If you do not have the height to use a lift, there is always the option of a pit for working underneath.

I think a real high quality down draft paint booth, or a fully set up hut for sand blasting big parts. HMMM. Wait maybe a large powder coating rig. :-\ :-\

I'd try to talk him into a new 8 car garage and let him keep the 72 virgins.

no matter what you wish for ,when you get your wish you will fill the garage up to the lid and then you would wish for a larger garage. I know i have been there done that   vette59jdwl
