My old stumping grounds (Buffalo, NY)
See the 6.2 Liter LT4 made by robots
at the GM Tonawanda plant in Buffalo, NY
This is a startling revue of the power and
speed of robotic manufacturing
One of it's main products is the most powerful car engine on the road - A 650 monster powerplant that pushes the new Corvettes.
And you'll be amazed at not only what these robots can do, but also at their speed on the really tough jobs, the delicacy and accuracy.

That's a great looking truck!
When I was in High School (Auto Tech) in Buffalo, NY it was our goal to get a job at the Chevy engine plant....most of my friends either worked there or at the Bethlehem Steel Plant. The steel plants are gone and the Tonawanda engine plant was taken over by robots...so the best thing next to do was go on welfare or work for the Federal Government. I'm now a retired federal employee ;)
