With all the "Drama" car shows it's great to see a show that's about the cars and not about the clowns working on them. I just watched the episode about Smokey Yunick. Cool stuff.

Only had the time to watch one show with the Marty Robins race car restoration project...great episode.
Interesting is that Ray Evernham has applied for the "Americarna" Trademark.

Also interesting is that the Americarna has been a yearly event in New Zealand for years? Unique to the NZ event is that it is a mobile car show, the
American Cars
tour NZ. Watched one show on Car Crazy and it was moving to see all the American cars tour New Zealand with participation of the various towns people lining the streets with American flags!

I was watching the show tonight and they were saying Rick Hendrick bought a 31 Chevy 5 window coupe at age 14 and turned it into a drag car. He still owns it today and has it in his collection.

I havnt seen either show, the TV one, or our kiwi event. The TV car shows are definately getting better though. Nice to see more car movies coming out too.
