Ghost  looks like you found the gold mine or roadster I believe this to be a 1925 or 1926 Oakland/Pontiac deluxe roadster most were either coupes or cabriolets very few true roadsters but pictures say this is one of a kind ok maybe two vette59jdwl

its definitely a roadster, cabriolet's really didn't come around until early 1930 and up.

To attempt to restore or street rod , that would be a massive undertaking .

that wouldn't be too bad to fix up with a lot of time, labor, and money. About like my Buick

your buick appears to have been in significantly better condition than the Pontiac shown.  Minimal rust at the bottom of panels whereas the Pontiac is missing 3-4" on cowl and quarters.

Its a project for somebody with a lot of time and metal working skills.

Mike  what i meant by what i said was PONTIAC did not make a real pontiac till 1932 before that they were Oakland / Pontiac started in 1926.If this is a 1925 then it is a proto-type check the body lines there is nothing that i can find that looks like that ,headlights look like 25 dodge-brothers , winshield posts also look like 25 dodge dash looks like 25 dodge but obviously its not a dodge brothers product.
Oh and by the way last night i went out to the shop to check on the door i purchased from Don Beals It has the holder for the curtain rod broken off but it is in the door.both doors are not the same they are offset eg in picture
Also 1981 drivers door and 1982 passengers door. I have the dimensions and a picture of the curtain rod if you want one just say so according to acca they are made of 3/8 steel rod squared offset on the bottom and heated and pounded into shape on the top.  vette59jdwl

I found a fully restored 1926 Pontiac sedan pictures online and the body line  is nothing like on that roadster, nor are the fenders in the trailer ad anything like what the restored car has.  Possible the body line might be common to the roadster tourings only ?

Definitely this is a mystery car, but it has features somebody will be able to identify.  Question is how did they figure out what it is, rad emblem ?  Hubcap ?

Scary rust thru on the axle have never seen that before.

found the place in Australia that makes the correct Chevrolet side rod curtain holders pockets

http://www.vintageandclassicreproductions.com/Universal.htm

Notice it has correct shape to go thru top of door cutouts as opposed to the fords style.  see pictures below

Naw. I am pretty sure it's a 27 or 28 pontiac because of the grille and markings on top of the cowl. Here is a 28 pontiac sedan for comparison

whatever it is, Pontiac roadster , with Chrysler imperial fenders.

I blew up the picture of the cowl section, then took a picture of it from my monitor.

That double body line especially with the curl in the lower line is the clue to what this roadster body really is ??????????
