If any of you have been keeping up with the NHRA then you probably saw Steve "torrant" little temper tantrum.
One of the last races, he was up against
Cameron Feere.
Weather he lost or won this race he would still be champion.
Ferre a newcomer had deep staged on him, he left first but smoked the tires mid track.
Torrance was upset about this even though he won. He shook hands with Cameron, said some words and hit him in the face.
NHRA only issued a $25,000 and still let him have the championship.😠👎
I think they should have took points away enough to lose the championship and ban him for the next season.

I wasn't happy with the way they dealt with it either. He's a spoiled brat that should have been taught a lesson.

I agree .. I was watching the race and Steve shoved his head back violently. He walked up to him shook his hand then hit him. Kinda like a sucker punch. I would call it criminal assault. No way for a guy driving a top fueler to act. Ron

I don't follow drag racing anymore but I can say that Cameron Ferre is a better man than I am. That would have escalated in a hurry and someone would have gotten their ass kicked. Maybe me, but no one gets a free shot. That was pure CS.
