It has been snowing sideways since last night and it doesn't look ik it is going to quit very soon. It is coming from the north so it has a bunch of cold temperatures with it. So as I said in the title after shoveling it might be a good time to get some more done on the buick project....John

The weather isn't too good here in Connecticut either...Cold , windy and still plenty of snow on the ground.I think spring got lost this year. So what are you waiting for? Stop looking out the window and go work on the Buick!

Yeah I think spring did get lost. Well between plowing snow a couple of times and going out to lunch with the wife, my best laid plans for the shop are gonna get started about 4:00 this after noon. I should be able to get some done late today and tomorrow. I think the snow is letting up.

Yeah still about a foot of snow on the ground up here in New Hampshire. Starting to slowly melt. Glad to have the heater in the garage!

Yeah I like to open the garage door when I work on mine. I just want to put the snow blower away for the season and free up the space in the garage!

You guys talking about snow and rain made me decide to push the 33 out of the barn for some fresh air. Getting ready to fire it up shortly. All brake lines done, TPI fuel lines & fuel cell done, ECM wiring to ignition done, need to wire the fan/relays, radiator hose.
Have the door chops pieced back together, hood extended 5", roof chopped 2.5", channeled, have the hood side hinges and hidden hold down locks done, doors/trunk lid work. As I type this..remembering a bunch of little things I need to do yet :-\

Really don't like posting pics with the body as it is...but really don't want to "prime it up" until I can do the final tig welds and get the body plastic done correctly. It's a pain removing primer to put the plastic and final paint on.
Initially want to paint it with a single stage semi-gloss.....wanted to be different and go with semi-white two tone..but can't determine the second color and where to use it. That's months down the line anyway..

A pic of the dash (in prime)...intentionally mixing up the gauges, want, chrome, black, various faces etc. Have toggles for dash light, running lights, headlights. The red toggle will run the computer radiator fan over ride (high speed). To the right of the toggles is a small LED to indicate 700R4 lockup. On the left is my o2 sensor mix gauge and digital tach.

Looks like you have everything well under control. I like the dash layout....Nice and clean! Can't wait to see the finished product. Are you locking the converter with the pressure switch or are you doing it manually?

Using the ECM to lock it up and my brake pedal to unlock (made my own TPI harness). Have one of those Police Camaro VSS units with both manual speedo cable and 4 pulse signal output. Have a Moates burner and Tuner Pro software...already have PROMs with VATS and EGR, Evap etc disabled... getting closer!

With that burner and software you can do just about anything you want. You should be able to get a happy medium between good performance and mileage. Better do your homework ;D
