That's a great article. I hope to someday go to the Don Garlits museum to see some of the great cars from back in the day...I can remember  when all of those guys ran at our local strips like Connecticut Dragway and Lebanon Valley NY. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting.  That was some amazing engineering for the day.  Moose maybe we have a Rusty Bowtie day down at Don's museum!  That is one place on my future vacations.

The way things are going here in Connecticut with taxes and new laws you might be able to visit both Don's museum and me in Florida in the near future  ;)

Nice article. I just hope I can get my 401 buick to run well in my roadster, but after reading this it should run well enough.

I remember seeing his four engine 4 wheel drive drag car come to New England Dragway long ago.  He also has his dragster with the front wheels covered in a glass sided trailer.  Quite the showman.
