Title: Awsome 400cc R/C Radial
Post by: sammons on March 28, 2015, 10:31:57 AM
I love American WW2 warbirds, attend a lot of air shows in my area. I have also been to some of these scale model R/C fly-ins. I came across this video a couple years ago when checking out the small radial engines. The sound this large scale P-47 has is truly amazing! (And pulling a 4-blade prop)

I don't know how to link a youtube video link from my phone, but here is the the name. "P-47 razorback moki 400 radial" It is 3:24mins. And well worth a listen.

CRANK IT UP, AND RIP THE KNOB OFF!! ;D

I was into RC planes back in my younger days and have seen some pretty cool birds, I have to say that's one of the coolest I've seen :)

Thanks for the link Tom.  There is a B-25 Mitchell out there with twin 400's on it. Waiting for someone with a very large sum of $$$$$ to build a B-17 with four of those.  ;D   23hp each and at the cost of approx $7000 ea., it may be awhile. :o
