As I mentioned in a previous post I have been working on a 1929 dash that I was thinking about putting in my 30.  Attached is a picture on the 29 and the one that is in the car now.  Your thoughts?

Tough choice..What gauges would go into the 29 dash?

I don't think either choice is gonna hurt the car. The 30 dash when painted and maybe some pinstriping around the guages would look cool, but the 29 dash has the style built in. Toss up.

I would have to go with a tach/speedometer combo in the 29 dash.

I like the one with the wood grain,,,and  2  quad gauges would look good.  Clean and simple but still has character. Then there is the placement of the radio/cd player and A/c controls  and A/C  vents. I like a clean dash and usually hide or relocate  these items off of the dash.. they would fit in an overhead console.. just my opinion....

I like the one in it now. Plane and simple but that's me, bare bones, just enough to make it legal and then remove three things.

I will give the 3 gauge classic instruments the thumbs up here.

The easy to get to radio is a bonus

I could go either way.  Have you thought of putting some wood behind the 3 gauges?  Maybe ask Moose to photoshop it.

After installing the gauges it looks better, but in my opinion there's not enough of the surface area dash being used like it's to plain. I know some like to keep it clean and simple

Moose you are awesome,  great look.

Tom, I used peel and stick.  It is a roofing material that I got at Lowes and it does a great job. Definitely takes the tin sound out.  There has been a lot of write-ups about this.  It is cheaper than Dynomat.
