Want to buy an assortment of these wire connector insulators...but can't come up with a search name ???
-
looks like a spark plug or wiring boot.
-
For plug wires? Try "terminal" and "boot"
-
Need them to cover 5/16" nuts on an electric fuel pump, tank sending unit etc.

Ed I just googled "alternator insulation boots" and found several sites. Looks like aircraft supply company's carrie them. Hope that helps.

Thanks...that did help!

that's always the main problem, trying to figure out what the name of the part is on order to search a source for them.
I too thought spark plug boot until the alternator word came up, and I went OH YA.

Still having a problem locating the small ones to cover for example 5/16" nuts. Would like to cover the terminals on the electric fuel pumps and sending unit.
FYI: Needed a return line for the fuel injection so I just tapped into the sending uniting....would like a rubber insulator on the sending unit bolt.

Ed you might try Mendelsons in Dayton, Oh. They had a listing for some 90° insulating boots on E-bay. They may have a variety of different sizes.

ED on places that you think you will never undo , try liquid electric tape ,its a liquid rubber in a can with an applicator .sorry if this doesn't cut it . vette59jdwl
