A couple things to ponder.............

1. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.

2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

3. Gun control is not about guns, it's about control.

4. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.

5. If you don't know your rights you don't have any.

6. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.

7. Guns only have two enemies: rust and politicians.

8. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

9. You don't shoot to kill, you shoot to stay alive.

10. Assault is a behavior, not a device.

11. Criminals love gun control -- it makes their jobs safer.

12. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.

And, have good day :)

Kinda reminds you of the reporter interviewing a grandmother. The grandmother shows the reporter the loaded  12 gauge shotgun and her holstered 357 magnum revolver.  The report asks..what are you afraid of?  Granny replies with a smile...Nothing Now!

grannie has a false security .

we live right next door to you and hand guns are not allowed, period.  We are not so terrified as to hold up in our bunkered homes armed to the teeth with weaponry.

talk about two distinct society's, both free, one happy the other, paranoid somebody is going to break into their homes and kill them.

Move north of the 48th parallel and come back to feeling cozy.

tell me more about dealing with a lot of Canucks who are causing problems 800 yards from the border.

Are they spilling over the border drunk and acting nuts.

Are you dealing with a skiing crowd getting hammered and how do you know they are canucks.

Is everybody wearing the red maple leaf on a hat or jacket so you can easily identify them as Canadians.

Anybody wearing A WHITE THONG WITH RED MAPLE LEAF ON IT ?

Well if your going to make light of the conversation , you should avail yourself of the many SMILIES available  :) ;) :D ;D >:( :( :o 8) ::)  ect that you are joking.

So I pull up to the 1000 islands border crossing north of Syracuse NY.  The USA border agent starts hitting me with questions.......do I have any guns, NO, do I have any knives NO, do I have any tobacco NO, do I have any explosives in the car NO, do I have any drugs in the car No , and on and on for another 2-3 minutes.

All the time this guy is standing in 95 degree heavy humidity weather with a bullet proof vest, glock 45, stun batton, pepper spray on his belt and who knows what else.   Maybe he even had a grenade stuffed away in all that.  He decides I & wifie need to go inside so that they can check me out with FBI , Interpol , CSIS  and who knows what other government agency ???????

Since 9-11 you the American people are terrified of everybody and anything to the point of hysteria .   Eat some peanut butter , take some meds and calm down.
