Oh Yes...very nice.  Looks like you have some great weather there.  Still getting well below freezing here at night, but not bad in the daytime.

I have a question for you, maybe more than one.  Are your rear fenders stock width or are they widened?

And are you able to actually step on to your running boards to get into the car?  I haven't pulled mine off yet but at least on the driver's side I think the brackets must be shot.  I remember seeing quite a few of the car guys who put a little sign on their step plates "No Step".  Not sure if that was just for the Show 'N Shines, or all the time.

Thanks.  Well, everything will be coming off the car down to the bare frame so I imagine I will need to fab some new ones.

Nice car.Did you change the stock headlights over to sealed beam or halogen,or do they have the stock bulbs? I'm going to use the stock 28 lights on mine, but I would like halgen bulbs. May not be possible, and if not I'll just find a 12v bulb that will work.

Those are 27 Chevy headlights, had then recondition and bulbs put in..give enough light for me  8)

Mine look just like yours. I'd guess 27-28 are the same. I will have to get my reflecters resilvered regardless of what I do.I'll probably never drive it at night anyway,I.m not into cleaning bugs off!

Trbomax, these guys have replacement reflectors that I bought to reuse my original headlights on my 33.  I'll try to get you some pics of them this weekend.  http://www.aaaparts.cwmax.com/chevyhl.htm

I see they have reflecters that are converted to halogen too.The question would be if 32's use the same size reflecter as 28's. From what I can find, the 32's are 8 11/16" dia lense, Maybe a call would be a good idea but I would think that if they are the same thier catalog would say so.

I did call the guy when I was buying mine and he was very friendly and helpful.  Give him a call.

I took one of my lights apart. Here are some pics of it.Its been in the attic of my old shop in toledo for 50 yrs,and was taken off the car in favor of some chrome lights around 1959. Any way the reflecter is 7.5" accross and the lense is 8- 11/16".
