Panic Buying?
« on: March 15, 2022, 09:37:51 PM »
Here we go again. I stopped by the feed store on my way home today. They were almost out of chicken feed. Someone bought ALL of the lawing mash and most of the scratch. The dog food was gone and several empty pallets where other bags had been. I got one bag of scratch. I'm lucky, If I can control my dogs I can turn my chickens loose in the day. They'll feed themselves and maybe I'll get a few coyotes. :o

The way the Brandon economy is going...could have been a restaurant that bought all the pet food!

Dang it, Puddin is now getting into our dog supplies, you know it's his fault.
Every time I fill up with gas, I could slap a democrat :o

Not here much. They are doubling down on the Trump + Putin BS. It's still all Trumps fault and Putin is doing his dirty work.

Every Wednesday my wife has lunch with a flock of retired teachers we used to work with. I can not believe the insane things they say. She goes for the entertainment and to get away from me.  :)

I love the "I did that" Biden stickers turning up on gas pumps & grocery shelves. I ordered 100.  ::)

Seems my area has had a big run on dog food. Most stores around here only have a very few small bags left. My buddy Tom travels around doing his farm chem's and finally came across a big 50lb bag yesterday. Local Coop has Purina, but my dog won't eat it.

One of my dogs needs a high fat formula. The other one can eat rocks and gain weight. I'll have to watch the dog food hoarding. There is a dog food option here too but I better not say what it is.  ::)

Had the same problem looking for dry cat food.  Shelves were bare!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Can't get my dog food at our regular store unless I go everyday. Shelves are getting thin too. Lets Go Brandon!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Strange for sure.
I think i would rather be vaporized on a nuke attack rather than have to put up with the radiation fallout and chaos to follow.🥴

I've been reading about radiation from fallout. It all depends on how close you are to the blast and what kind of blast. If you are a few miles away and somewhat prepared they are very survivable. The radiation degrades pretty quickly.
