Title: Gas Going Down?
Post by: sixball on September 27, 2022, 12:58:15 AM
We got as low as around $3.80 for a week or is. Now it is $5+!  It will all be OK, Tesla is just a few miles away. I'm sure there will be a local discount.  ::)

Ours should be going down but it isn't , compared to the rest of the country.  We even have a few refineries in the city here and of course that gas gets sent to other states 🙄. WTF?

My cheapest gas has been outside the city.  Weird.

All Nevada politics are run by Clark County (Las Vegas) because 90% of the population lives there they somehow think that only tourists buy gas and it makes sense to soak them for it. We even have a law that if the FEDS cut gas taxes the state tax goes up that amount. We need to carve Clark County and give it to California. Then we could deal with Reno.  ;D

We have been bottomed out at $3.59 for a month and a half here in town. Looks like my area ranges from $3.49 to 3.69 right now.  Probably going up soon, (probably any day now😡).

$5.39 today up 20 cents from yesterday. Working folks in Nevada don't make enough to do this. There is no public transportation here. Those who work drive to get there.

Another dime today! Up 50 cents in 3 days! Food is doing the same kind of thing. This is going to be a tough winter.

I just got back from a trip to Gatlinburg Tennessee.  The lowest price I paid was $2.89 in northern Georgia.  The highest I paid was $3.69 in Pennsylvania.  I did see a few places in the low $4.00 range but the $2.89 was the lowest I saw.  Here in New Hampshire we're around $3.30 a gallon.

It's almost hilarious for me to see your gas prices, and I'm sure this will make you
feel better for a little while: The gas prices in our town today are all hovering at
$7.91/gallon (2.05€ / liter), and it's cheaper now (read: less expensive) than during summer.

In July we fuelled up the boat with dielsel fuel @ $9.18/gal, and it gets 3.1mpg. Just saying,
it could be worse.
And thank you Pootn  :(
