He gets all the chicks. 😊
Unfortunately today he woke up with the side of his face swollen. Took him to the vet and they said he had an abscess on his left side. Tomorrow he goes in to get it removed and get his teeth cleaned , nails trimmed.
My dogs insurance is better than mine. 😄

He would probably watch it for 2 minutes. 😄
.
Max update;;;;; He had 2 small teeth removed that were growing in funky , they left an open wound on his lower left cheek for the abcess to drain, has 2 ear infections and wearing the cone.
I have a special cone that I shortened and sewn binding to the edges . It's more comfortable and easier to get around in.

How old is your boy Max? I had a Max that I put down about a year ago. Funny, she had an abscess in her cheek/jaw. I cut the cone down, she kept bumping into things and getting hung up. Anyway, the best of luck with your buddy

He's 10 this year. Thanks for the well wishes.👍
He's doing good. Meds, cleaning and hot packs on his neck a few times a day.

We lost our old buddy Joe the Tramp a few months back. He was everything a male dog should be. No wheels were left un-pissed on, tools were stolen and partly buried, lunches eaten. Once he even took my wallet and gloves. I think he was headed to the bar. Once on a stool with the gloves he would have been had to pick out from the rest. We got another one for company for our other one that we got for company for Joe when a previous dogs died. There is a pattern here. Life without dogs isn't really life at all.

My shepherd is about 13, pretty old for a shepherd. His hips are going, it's hard for him to walk and he stumbles now. Six months ago the vet said he wouldn't last a year. Of course, they can never know how long a dog will last, but how do you know when is when?

I know bulldogs have a high tolerance to pain and I've only heard him "wimper" in pain once or twice but it's a sound that's hard to hear him doing.😢
The other day. We had the movie (Babe) playing and when the sheep died, he started howling.😯
We've never heard him howl before.
Give our best to your German shepherd.

Wow. I swore id never be one of those guys that let's his car sit forever. Last drive in August 😬.
Fuel pump was dumping way too much fuel into the carb, 12psi . Flooding it during startup.
Hearing horror stories about mechanical pumps rotting out and killing engine bearings. Im starting to think maybe an electric pump for a replacement.
If my wiring harness has provisions for that, IDK.
One thing for sure, it's getting a regulator.
Hoping June/July I can tear into it.

Mechanical pump on my '67 Mustang went last spring, I've been too lazy to replace it, just lazy.
