Title: Shadow hot rod art
Post by: ghost28 on May 17, 2014, 08:50:50 PM
A good friend of mine painted this picture on metal 8 by 10 tin and then gave it to me. I have had it for quite awhile, but had forgotten about it. I has 4 vehicles in the picture. one looks like 57 plymouth, the other car looks like 46 ford or maybe a chevy, then there is the studebaker pickup with the cowboy in the back enjoying the sunset, but what you might not be able to see is the other truck cab just below the studebaker. Have a look fellas.

I was able to zoom in and use a flash to get the other truck cab to show up.

That's one of those pieces you can look at and see something different each time.  Interesting stuff.

That is really nice. I love the old silhouette thermometers where a close up scene is painted on the glass in a frame and a distant scene usually of a sunrise or sunset is placed behind.
