35 year old loss
«

A friend last friday about noon had his 55 chevy 2 door sedan that he has owned for 35 years totaled, and his 68 camaro smashed up, along with his garage that is attached to his home. I guess a man down the street with some condition ran his 2014 big dodge diesel at full throttle into my friends garage area hitting his 55 in the rear and shoving it through the tool box, air compressor and back wall of the shop the 55 is a total loss with the rear of the car pushed close to the rear window. Then the man proceeded to back out of the garage with the garage door attached to his truck and headed down the street and smahed into a fedex truck, then through a back yard and imbedded his truck into the living quarters of another home. Thank god no one was hurt other than the driver. I can't find any information if he is alive or dead at this time. Tom you might remember this 55 at the sonic when you were here. it was dark blue and white with a supercharged small block sticking through the hood. Real pretty car

There is no recovery for a loss like that. Even getting your hands on the guy that caused it seems to be no help here. It is one thing if the owner wrecks his car but this is just sad.

Ghost I remember the car. Very nice car. That's terrible. Like sixball said there is no recovery from a loss like that. Ron

A buddy was up at a car show in Canada Sunday and on the way out was hit in the rear by his buddy
When hit he was driven into a car in front of him...all three involved are (were?) friends. He was really proud of that old Ford...he does have a 1956 Ford in the garage.
We'll see how that collector car insurance works...

You say ,"were friends"? That stuff can strain a relationship.

I think that white car (Buick?) in the first picture hit the back of the convertible. The driver said he got the peddles mixed up? I know he was in Canada but the peddles up there are in the same location
Must be that metric system.
