Title: Need a 5.3L V8 LS motor? Western Mass.

2002 S10 truck with a 2004 5.3 dropped in for $800..with wiring harness and ecm. Heck..the engine is probably worth that...

So much power, no leaks, cheap, and who needs a warranty when you-pull-it is around. I don't like the looks of the 5.3/6.0 but man they run good.

I know what you mean about looks...but the LS engine is the next 283.   In a couple more years, your steel 350 with carb will be real old school ;)

That is a good deal.  There are ways to dress them up and if you're clever you could come up with some of your own.
