Ed, it looks real close to a 1930 Packard 733 rumble seat coupe. I'll bet the key to this mystery will be identifying the hinge pivot, (the three arm triangle).  I couldn't find any pics of the pivot. The Packard has no handle on the lid, the catch latch is the same style(top middle), same for the seat back shape, and outer sheet metal.

Best guess I have.
