Recently had to replace my walkin garage door screen. I locked myself out and it needed replaced from age and hail holes anyway.
I was looking at some of our old town pics and remembered about one of our old grocery store screen doors that had the Rainbo bread logo painted on it. I thought I would experiment and try.
I made a sticky stencil from white contact paper. Lesson learned....use newer contact paper! My old roll stretched getting the backing paper off after stencil was cut out.
Oh well, back door......proceed anyway.
Did the blue block bowtie first, masking off with tape/paper and a piece of cardboard underneath. Then the white lettering followed by the outer stripe (because the stencil really got out of shape on the 1/8" stripe part).
You can look out from inside and almost see nothing, but from out side in....shows up good. I was going to put "SERVICE" above, but maybe later. Hands weren't co-operating, probably the operation of the exacto knife
I'll take more care/time cuting out the stencil next time!
