Went with a friend to a hydrographic shop...he's getting a part done..been thinking of getting my dash done in Wood grain pattern.... Now got to decide on what to get
the oak one which is dark or a lighter one guess I'll see what the wife likes....she's more artistic than me.... and see how my friends part turns out....

I didn't care much for wood dashes until my uncle brought home an old Hudson when I was in high school. Some kind of heavy grained burl. What a classy car. I never found out how fast it would go. Give us pictures of what you decide on.

I had my gauge cluster done in a burled mahogany, looks good IMO
guess I could post some pictures, just to cold to go outside

I thought about having my dash done, but cant beat the patina it has. Maybe I'll just clear coat it for now.

Researched how to do burl, practiced for a month and gave it a try on my dash and garnish molding. Think it came out OK. The process takes a full week to do including the clear coats.
