Title: Changing the 27 delivery
Post by: ghost28 on December 21, 2013, 08:37:15 PM
I got the delivery back in the shop today. Scotty doesn't care for the station wagon rear door I built for it. I can't say I blame him I never did like that idea. I am gonna do one of two things to correct this.
1. make it a traditional opening door.
2. seal it up completely and turn the car back into the original sedan it started life as.

I will let ya know.

I like the door opening in the bottom picture.  What cowl lights did you use on the 27?

Thanks guys he has rolled a bunch of miles on it from this summer. I wish I would have given it more thought while building it, but I wanted something different and different I guess is not always a good idea. Thank heaven it's not to late to change it.

Tom.... The cowl lights are original for that year 1927 chevy and for the most part off of that car.

Thanks. I would like to see some pic's of the model a.  I like all different ideas to building cars.   Isn't that what keeps this hobby and all of us unique?

That's a lot of work!  Should make access to the rear a lot easier.  Nice job John.
