Title: Old Chevy Steering wheel Identifying

So I found an old chevy steering wheel the other day, it is in great condition besides the hole drilled through the horn cap ( must have been a decoration at one point)   does anyone know what year this is?

That is in good condition! I dont have a clue about year except a guess late 40's sedan
