Had a round of bad weather...50-75 mph winds...a lot of rain...caused damages to about 40 homes..trees uprooted, power lines down, power poles snapped,South part of the city some still without power.....traffic lights out ...Been a lot of accidents because people are not treating intersections as a 4 way stop....have cops at busy intersections directing traffic....and almost getting run over....and have a lot of Looky Lous in areas that received the path of the storm driving around hindering clean up efforts.....just a lot of dumb asses out and about.....might have to go tomorrow and help a friend get his tree off his house, hope his '32 Ford Coupe and '50 Chevy are safe....he's 83 years young.....

Expecting another round today (Monday)....
-
The weather is crappy here but not dangerous like yours. I hope you continue to be safe.
Expect a little snow tomorrow. It is funny how people who use the same parking lot every day don't remember the general lay of parking spaces when a 1/2 " of snow is on it. The same with the lines on the road. And they vote! :(

Rained hard here most of the day. Went over the mountains ti CA today. Rained over Donner Pass & 39 degrees, probably snow tonight. It will all head that way. I've been in touch with my cousins in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. All were safe as of yesterday be it's changing all the time. The one in Oklahoma was concerned about rising water. Crazy spring. When I was a kid in Texas a tornado took out two chicken houses and the barn about twenty yards from the house. Tornados do insane things...wheat straws through plate glass windows and railroad rails, garden hoses throughout trees, tear down a house and leave all the furniture in place..... :o

Thanks Tom we are safe...our home is on a "mountain" for these parts...called Wildcat Mountain...but there is a lot of people getting displaced that live close to the river that built there because of the view...and a lot in the low lying areas
