Good job. Making things work better for you is what this is all about. It is easy to ignore air flow sitting inside with the windows rolled up & the AC running until you meet a car with a dog in the back seat, head out the window, & big ears flapping in the wind. ;D

Redoing a vinyl top on this pontiac.  Whoever did it used spray-can glue.  That crap never works, even the hi-temp stuff.
What a mess to clean up,  must of used 5 cans.

Getting ready for a trip this weekend and started feeling ill around 3,o'clock.  I think I have heat exhaustion,  snuck up on me.  Hot, cold 🥶 shivers.
Thought I was being proactive drinking water.  Guess it wasn't enough.  Might cancel.

I hate cleaning up other peoples messes. I make enough of my own. I worked in my vegetable garden most of the day. In and out of the sun lots of water but i still think I quit just is time. I hope you are feeling better!

Lol, that rattle can spray holds for a short time. Then realeases in the heat and turns to a goo. Yep, not fun to clean up at all.
Friend of mine years ago had a Tempest with that color combo.

Heat stroke is pretty nasty. 1st time i got it I was 12 pushing a mower thru high grass, 100° day. Felt light headed, kinda cold clamy felling. Then like shutting off an old tube TV, went to tunnel vision down to that little dot. Made it back into the shop, dad was wet sanding and hosed me down, gave me water and sat me down in the office with a/c on. Slowly i could see again but felt sick.
2nd time i was 19 at the State fair 100°+ my girlfriend guided me to the beer tent to cool back down. I started wearing a hat after that. Not fun at all.

Broke a record yesterday at 109°, they are calling for 108 today to match record. Looks like another week and a half of over 100° temps here and dry as a bone🥵

Well after having a severe headache and not being able to keep anything down. Should have recovered by now so I took a home covid test,  comes with 2 tests and both were +.
Had to cancel the camping trip.  Had this trip planned since January and the rest of the family is up there. Guess im on quarantine for 5 days 🤪.
Today my headache is almost gone but the body aches,  hard to lay down for longer periods.

It was almost 100% in the shade yesterday and we are near 6000'. That is too hot for here at it cools off to the high 60s at night. I may have to break out the swamp cooler. Its just so noisy and takes a lot of power.

We run ours at night till it gets too cold 🥶.  Then early morning gets turned back on and ran all day.
Keeps the house cool when I get home from work.
Wife works from home.
All of our neighbors that converted to central air have went back to window mount swamp coolers cause it was so expensive to run the central air.

The one we have cools most of the house well but it draws too much to run long periods on our solar system. I am too lazy. I have 6 new solar panels and 2 new big batteries I haven't hooked up yet. That would run the cooler fine.

This has to be the worst weekend ever 🤨.  Yesterday was feeling better,  walking around,  eating. Thinking im just about over this .
Then this morning I took a Tylenol for the body aches and was just about to eat breakfast when the world started spinning.  Fell over in my chair,  smashing my face into the floor.  Wife woke me up a minute later.  Dazed and couldn't move my hands. Fingers were in odd positions.
Wife called the paramedics. They checked all my vitals and said im dehydrated.
Amongst all the guys in the house our newest kitten was lost. We thought she ran outside.  So once the paramedics left I helped her look around the neighborhood despite my condition. An hour later I found her hiding under a box in the basement.
Finally able lay down and get some fluids in and look over my injuries. Might have a black eye soon,  my foot got tangled up in the chair somehow,  big nugget on the forehead.
Pretty shi#!ty weekend.

Sounds like a crappy day. But you are alive, your wife took care of you, the medics told you what went wrong and you found the kitten.  8)

Rattiac hope you get well soon!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!
