Title: Early Chevy Wire Wheels
Post by: Michael_e on April 19, 2014, 01:04:00 PM
Hi, I'm Mike and I'm working on a Speedster based on a 1930 Chevy Coupe chassis. Someone else took the body off to make a hot rod. I purchased what was left. Anyway, I've got some decent 19 inch
6 bolt wire wheels. Did Chevy ever offer 17 or 18 inch, 6 bolt wire wheels back in the day?

Yes, They did. Are you still thinking wire or would you use solid wheels? I will be using 19" on my '26 roadster with 400X19 motorcycle tires on the front.

my 35 Chevrolet standard series came with 17" wire wheels and 5 stud.

The master series for 1934 was 17" also but 6 stud
